Bee Tag Training

Even though it makes My Feeders nervous, I love playing Bee Tag. It's a sport I really enjoy. I think it should be in the 2012 London Cat Olympics. It takes great skill and practice.

While I'm quite quick on my feet, I still have not been able to catch my Bee friends when we play tag. I can't jump high enough and they are just too quick when they fly low to the ground.

My feeders like this fact, but I find it annoying and frustrating. So I've set up an indoor training program to improve my quickness and jumping skills.

A couple of times a week, I chase a fly around the house for an hour workout. I'm not sure exactly how my Feeders have arranged for this training, but my skills are definitely improving! Yesterday I jumped straight into the air, catching a fly in my paws mid-flight. How Karate Kid is that!

Much to my Feeder's horror though, I decided to eat my catch. They thought that was really gross. I was hoping it would taste like a chicken treat.

It didn't.

I can really understand why your games of Bee Tag make your Feeders nervous. I don't think you would like the result if you actually managed to tag the bee. I really admire your fly catching skill, though. Catching a fly in midair is very impressive.

Umm...Minnie....bees can sting...stick to flies! Although we would not eat them! Catching a fly in midair is very impressive indeed!

Watch out for that pointy-thingy at the owie-end of the bees, Minnie! We catch all sorts of flying bugs. It totally freaks our Nana out! hehehe.

Oh yes, we love bee tag too - but it makes Mommy skreetch, so we try to only do it when she isn't watching!

That is a hard skill to master! I think catching flies is okay, but be very careful of those bees!

Catching flies is hard. You did very good, Minnie. However, I think you should stick to flies and forget about bees.
